Viking FWCI1240G Panel Cellar Service
The FWCI1240G is a retired 24-inch custom panel undercounter wine cellar with five fully extendable shelves for up to 45 bottles stored horizontally, adjustable from 44 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Horizontal storage keeps corks moist, and extendable shelves make a big collection easy to reach, but they also mean more moving parts to maintain.
We service an FWCI1240G by sliding each shelf out under load, then measuring the cellar temperature at several settings. The fan is tested for real airflow, not just rotation, and the condenser is cleaned. The panel hinge and door gasket are checked for sag and seal. A written price comes first for retired parts, and our work carries a 30-day warranty. Handles and panel fasteners are checked at the same time.
A fan can spin without moving air if a duct is blocked or the blade is damaged. We check the air path and the blade as well as the motor.
