Viking VRCO1240D Outdoor Service
The VRCO1240D is a retired outdoor undercounter refrigerator, 24 inches wide, with two adjustable full-extension wire shelves for snacks and cans. Outdoor kitchens in the Houston area put this kind of unit through humidity, heat and grill grease, so what wears out first is usually the gasket and anything sensitive to moisture.
Our VRCO1240D visit starts with the condenser and vent, which we clean and inspect for grease, pollen and insect nests. Next come the door gasket and hinge, the light and control for corrosion, and the airflow around the cabinet. If the unit is in direct sun or tight against a grill, we point that out. Pricing is written down before parts are ordered, and our workmanship carries a 30-day warranty.
Heat raises the load on the condenser, and sun on the cabinet adds more. A dirty coil or weak fan makes it worse. We clean, test the fan and check ventilation.
Moisture can corrode connectors and soften gaskets. We inspect terminals and the door seal, and replace or protect what has been damaged. Outdoor cabinets see this every season, so a yearly check is worthwhile.
Grease travels on air and settles on the condenser, where it traps dust. A greasy coil needs degreasing, not just vacuuming, and we do that during service.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
