Viking VCRB5363 36-Inch All-Refrigerator
Wider than its 30-inch sibling, the VCRB5363 is a 36-inch all-refrigerator column in the Professional Series, built to take a custom panel. With no freezer inside, the whole cabinet is fresh food, and it is often installed alongside a freezer column or by itself in a pantry wall.
A wide door puts more leverage on the hinges and on the seal along the latch side. We often find a gasket gap there, and the compartment runs warm at the top while the bottom stays cold. You see the price in writing before we start, and 30 days of warranty follow.
A gasket gap near the top, a failing fan or a drifted sensor can all do it. We measure at several heights and look at the seal and airflow before replacing anything.
It can, because the door has more weight and leverage on the hinges. We check hinge tension and gasket contact during every visit. Panel weight adds to the load, so a loose hinge or a tired gasket shows up there first.
Compare the display with a thermometer placed inside. A large mismatch suggests the sensor, and we confirm with a resistance test. If the display says 38 but the thermometer disagrees by several degrees, the sensor is the first suspect.
