The FRDI1240D is a retired 24-inch custom panel refrigerated drawer unit, an extra refrigerator without the cumbersome extra refrigerator. It adds two storage spaces wherever you want them, a hidden touch pad sets the temperature, and precision control from 32 to 39 degrees F keeps food fresh and beverages chilled.
The hidden touch pad is a weak point if cleaning liquid runs into it, and the drawers carry the weight of full pantry loads. When a slide wears, the drawer does not close flush and warm air gets in, so the unit works harder and still reads warm.

Moisture or cleaner behind the pad is the usual reason. We dry the area, check the connector and replace the pad or the board only if the readings prove it is dead.
