Viking FDW300 Custom Panel Dishwasher
The FDW300 is a retired 300 Series 24-inch custom panel dishwasher with three wash arms, a triple filtration system, a turbidity sensor and Quiet Clean insulation. Its adjustable racks hold up to 14 place settings, two more than the 100 Series.
Extra capacity makes a difference to a household that runs the machine nightly. The filters collect more, the pump moves more water, and the door opens and closes under a panel’s weight many more times. We therefore begin with the filters and spray arms, then test the drain and the pump. The door springs are next, then the turbidity sensor.

Up to 14 place settings with the adjustable racks. A fuller machine puts more load on the filter and pump, so we pay attention to drain speed and spray pressure.
Hard water, a weak rinse dispenser or a dirty filter may be the cause. We test the dispenser, then inspect the filter and arms and check the water supply for hardness.
It is sound-deadening insulation around the tub. It needs no attention, but a poorly closing door can reduce its effect, so we check the latch and seal if the machine is loud.
