The FDUI5242D is a current 5 Series panel-ready undercounter refrigerated drawer unit, 24 inches wide, with an adjustable divider, Dynamic Cooling Technology and digital controls. The panel hides the front, so it looks like a cabinet drawer in a bar or island.
A drawer sits low, and the compressor and condenser sit lower. Lint and dust find them, and a warm drawer follows. On a new unit the other causes are installation related: a front panel that is too heavy for the slide, or a unit pushed in too far for its vent.
