The FDSB5481 is a retired 48-inch custom panel side-by-side, the first of the FDSB548x family, blending into cabinetry with locally supplied front panels. Viking Professional handles or custom ones complete it. Look for a door that no longer closes by itself. The doors are large, and any drop shows in the reveal.
At 48 inches the panels are big and heavy, and hinge fatigue is the story of this model. When a door drops, the gasket opens at the bottom, warm air gets in, and the compressor lengthens its cycles. The rest of the complaints, frost and a warm shelf, follow from that.
