Viking FDB200 Custom Panel Dishwasher
The FDB200 is a retired Designer 24-inch dishwasher with a custom panel option, so it can take Professional or Designer panels in 24 color finishes, or a panel supplied locally by a cabinetmaker.
The panel is both its charm and its burden. Because every panel weighs something different, the springs need to match it, and many service calls turn out to be about a door that drops open or fights being closed. We check the springs and hinges first, then the seal, then the filter and drain. If the machine leaks at the front, the latch and door alignment get a look as well.

Yes. The springs must match it. A panel changed after installation can leave the door too loose or too stiff, and we adjust or replace springs to suit.
