The DFUD042 is a retired 24-inch Premium custom front dishwasher from the Professional line, with a touch pad hidden when the door is closed and electronic controls that offer several wash cycles and options aimed at saving energy.
The hidden pad is elegant, but it sits on the top edge of the door where steam and drips reach it. When the pad stops responding, we dry and inspect the area, test the keypad and check the control board. The usual wear items come next: filters, spray arms, the drain and the pump. If the machine ends a cycle early, we look at the sensors and the logic that decides cycle length.
