Viking BVGRC836 Brigade 36-Inch Range
The BVGRC836 is a retired Brigade gas range, 36 inches wide, built to order from a commercial line. It has a restaurant-style sealed burner system, a commercial-capacity oven and hydraulic door hinges, so it is heavier and more robust than a typical residential range.
Those same strengths shape our service. We start with the sealed burners: lift, clean, dry and test each for spark and flame. The hydraulic hinges should lower the door smoothly, and we check them for drag or a door that falls open. In the oven, we compare real temperature to the dial and examine the igniter and safety valve. A built-to-order range may carry parts that differ from stock ones, so we match by the label before ordering. A gas odor is never something to wait on: get out of the house first and call the gas utility from outside. You approve a written price before any work, and our workmanship is warranted for 30 days.
They let the oven door lower slowly and stay steady, instead of dropping. When they weaken, the door sags or slams, and we adjust or replace the hinge assembly.
A larger cavity holds more air to heat. If preheating becomes much slower than before, we test the igniter, the gas valve and the thermostat. Check the oven before blaming the burners.
Yes. We identify it by its label and by what is installed, then confirm part numbers before we order anything for it. A built-to-order range may use parts that differ from stock, so we compare the label with the parts list before we order, and we tell you if a part needs a special lead time.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
