On current Viking Fully Integrated columns with a touch display, such as the FDREIC7240, FDFZIC7240 and FDBMIC7360, the display can show Error Code with a numeric code reachable through the ALARM and INFO keys. The official wording describes functional problems and says to contact customer support. It also asks you to check the conditions of use, such as heavy food loads and frequent door opening. The numeric sub-codes are not listed publicly.
1. Press the ALARM key to silence the sound. 2. Use ALARM or INFO to read the number shown and write it down. 3. Reduce the load, keep the door closed, and let the unit settle for a few hours. 4. Check that the condenser grille is clear. 5. If the message stays, call us with the number and the model.
The owner guide does not list the numbers. Write down exactly what you see and give it to us with the model number, and we read it against the unit.
If temperatures stay normal after you silence the alarm and reduce the load, short use is reasonable. If the message returns or the unit warms up, move perishables and call us.
Make sure the condenser grille is clear, doors are shut, and the load is not packed against vents. Then send us the number, the model and when it appears.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
