Viking VDR54846G 48-Inch Dual Fuel
The VDR54846G is a current 5 Series 48-inch dual fuel range with six sealed gas burners, a griddle, a TruGlide full-extension rack and Rapid Ready preheat. Its listed capacity is 2.6 cu. ft., and a range of this width has two oven cavities, so we test each one separately.
A wide cooktop with a griddle is a lot to keep working. We measure griddle heat with a thermometer, clean and spark-test each sealed burner, and then move to the ovens. Each cavity gets a preheat time, a temperature comparison and a look at its door seal. The range must also sit level and be secured against tipping.
