Viking DDB325 Intelli-Wash Dishwasher
The DDB325 is a retired Designer 24-inch dishwasher whose Intelli-Wash system adjusts water pressure, temperature and speed to each load. It was offered with an installed door panel in stainless steel, black or white.
A system that adjusts itself relies on its sensors. When the machine runs too short or too long, or the water seems cold, we suspect the sensor or the heating path, not the dishes. We start by cleaning the filters and spray arms, then watch a cycle, then test the sensor readings. If the machine drains slowly we continue to the drain hose and pump.
With a panel already installed on the door, we also check the springs and hinges for fatigue. The price is quoted in writing before work.
It adjusts water pressure, temperature and speed to match each load. That makes sensor and control health important, so we test them when cycles seem too short or too long.
The springs may be tired, especially with a heavier installed panel. We test the tension and the hinge points and replace what has worn so the door holds at any angle.
Scrape off large food, but heavy rinsing is not needed. It can fool the sensor into choosing a light cycle. Clean filters matter more than pre-rinsing.
