Viking FDWU724 Premium Dishwasher Service
The FDWU724 is a current 24-inch fully integrated undercounter dishwasher with premium capacity, six wash cycles and a turbidity sensor, accepting a custom cabinetry panel. It is aimed at households that run the machine often.
More use means more wear on the wash pump, so that is a part we watch on this model. A pump that begins to hum, loses pressure or takes longer to drain suggests it is tiring. Before replacing it, we clean the filter, check the drain hose and spray arm holes, and confirm that the inlet supplies enough water. The turbidity sensor is also tested, since it controls the length of each cycle.
Prices are written before work begins, and repairs include a 30-day warranty.
Please tell us how often you run it.
Daily cycles add wear, but a clean filter and clear spray arms reduce the strain. If the pump hums or pressure drops, we test it before replacing, and we show you the reading.
It means more dishes per load, so the filter and drain work harder than in a lightly used machine. We pay extra attention to drain speed and spray strength during a visit.
Cloudiness can come from hard water scale, too much detergent, or weak rinsing. We check the water supply and rinse performance, and suggest a descaling routine if needed.
