Viking FDREIC7360 36-Inch Veil Refrigerator
The widest of the current Veil Series integrated all refrigerators, the FDREIC7360 is 36 inches wide with intuitive touch controls and a panel-ready door. A door that broad carries a large cabinetry panel, so hinge strength and alignment are the first things we look at.
Wide doors flex. A little sag at the latch side opens the gasket, and the top shelves warm up while the compressor runs more. Because the unit is current, this tends to be an installation matter, a screw not set, a panel heavier than planned, and it is solved by adjustment, not replacement.
We test the hinges, the gasket and the sensor and then the touch panel. The price comes in writing first, and the repair has a 30-day warranty.
It is the far end from the hinge, so any sag shows there. We raise the door at the hinge and check the gasket along its full length.
Probably not. A gasket gap or a blocked vent is more likely. We check those and measure shelf temperatures before looking further. Compressors seldom fail without louder warning signs.
Yes, but a new panel of a different weight needs the hinges re-set. We can adjust them as part of the visit. Heavier panels need stronger hinge settings.
