The door-ajar alarm sounds when my door is closed. Why?

The door switch may be sticking, or the panel's weight may keep the door from seating. We test the switch, adjust the hinges and check that the gasket touches all around.

Can the panel be removed for service?

Yes, and sometimes it must be, to reach the gasket or hinge. We take care with panel and trim, and refit it flush. The panel is a custom piece, so we handle it gently and keep the reveals even.

Why would the compressor cycle too often?

A sensor reading too warm keeps it running. We compare the display with a thermometer and test the sensor before suspecting the compressor. A sensor reading too cold does the reverse, and the compartment may end up warm because the compressor stops early.
