Viking VESO127T Touch Oven Service
The VESO127T is a retired 27-inch single electric select oven with touch controls, and it can be set to start cooking up to 24 hours ahead. It shares its width with the VESO127 and trades knobs for a touch panel.
If a delayed start does nothing, the board clock and the relay that closes at the set time come under suspicion. A panel that responds late may have moisture under the glass or a cable working loose. An oven that shuts off early might have a sensor dropping out, an opened thermal fuse or a board that is losing power, and we separate them with direct tests.
Lamp and door hardware are inspected as well. Part availability for a retired oven is verified before we quote. You get the price in writing first and a 30-day warranty.
The board may have lost its clock after a power blip, or the relay may not have closed. We check the clock and the relay. Those two parts are the usual reasons a program silently does nothing.
Moisture or wear in the touch layer, or a loose cable. We test the panel zone by zone and reseat the connection. A worn layer has to be replaced, and we quote it before ordering.
A sensor, thermal fuse or board is likely. We test the sensor and fuse first because they are the cheaper parts. The board is replaced only when the cheaper parts all pass.
