Viking RVGR33025B Gas Range Repair
The RVGR33025B is a current 3 Series 30-inch self-cleaning gas range with five permanently sealed burners, a continuous grate, TruGlide oven racks and a ProFlow convection baffle in a 4 cu. ft. oven. All-gas cooking means the oven relies on an igniter and safety valve, and those are the parts that age.
The sealed burners are easy to wipe but need drying after a spill. We lift, clean and test each one, then check the grate sits flat. In the oven, we test the igniter’s current draw, the valve, real temperature and the lock after self-clean. The convection baffle is inspected for warping, which would change how air moves. If you ever detect gas, get everyone out and call the gas utility before anything else. The cost is quoted in writing ahead of time, and the work comes with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
It is a panel that shapes how air moves in the oven. If it is bent or loose, heating can be uneven, and we check it during a visit.
The igniter can glow without drawing enough current to open the gas valve. We measure its current and replace it if it falls short. A new igniter is usually the fix.
At 4 cu. ft. it is a typical size for a 30-inch range. We check racks and door fit during service. We check the shelf positions too.
