The RVER330 is a retired 3 Series 30-inch freestanding electric range. It has five QuickCook surface elements that reach full power in nearly three seconds, and it needs no gas line, only a 240-volt electrical supply.
On an electric range with five elements, the first test is always the element that is not working. We measure it, then its switch and connector, so we replace only what has failed. The quick-start feature makes a slow element obvious, and we confirm that each one reaches full heat promptly. In the oven, we look at the bake and broil elements, the sensor and the door seal, and compare real temperature with the dial. We put the cost in writing first; a 30-day workmanship warranty covers what we do.
They are regular radiant elements built to heat quickly. They wear with use like any element, and we measure each one before replacing it. We test them like any other element.
A weak bake element or a sensor reading low would both slow it. We measure the element and compare the sensor reading with a thermometer. We also check the door seal.
Turn it off and call us. A shorted element or damaged wire can trip the breaker, and we find it with a meter before the range is used again.
