Viking RVDW103 Stainless Panel Dishwasher
The RVDW103 is a 24-inch fully integrated dishwasher that came with an installed Viking stainless steel panel, five wash cycles, a turbidity sensor and Triple-Clean filtration. It is discontinued, and many are still working in kitchens that were remodeled around them.
With its panel already installed, the door is not the kind that can be swapped for a lighter one, so springs and hinges carry the full weight year after year. We look at them early on this model. We also look at the filter and the drain, since a dishwasher that has run for years collects residue, and at the base-pan float switch if the machine has stopped for no clear reason. The turbidity sensor is checked last.

Only in that it adds weight to the door. We check the springs and hinges for wear and adjust them if the door drops. The panel itself rarely needs attention beyond cleaning.
A tripped base-pan float switch is a common cause. We look for water in the base, trace the leak, and make sure the switch resets before the machine runs again.
Look for water at the door corners, a stiff or cracked gasket, or a musty smell. We inspect the seal and test for leaks, then quote a replacement only if needed.
