Viking RVDW102 Stainless Panel Dishwasher
The RVDW102 is a retired 3 Series dishwasher, 24 inches wide, that came with an installed Viking stainless steel panel. Its listing describes three wash arms, a triple filtration system, a turbidity sensor, Quiet Clean insulation and racks for up to 12 place settings.
Since the panel was installed at the start, the door is heavy and the gasket works hard to hold it tight. When owners call, it is often about water at the front or a door that no longer hangs right. We check the gasket and latch first, then move to the filters, the arms and the drain. The turbidity sensor is tested last, because a good sensor still cannot make up for a clogged filter.
Everything is quoted in writing, and the repair is covered by a 30-day warranty.
Worn door gasket corners, a loose latch or a clogged filter that causes overflow can all leak. We inspect each, then run a cycle with a dry towel under the door to confirm the source.
Use a soft cloth and a cleaner made for stainless steel, wiping with the grain. Avoid abrasive pads, which scratch the finish and do nothing for the machine inside.
They spray at different heights so the load is covered evenly. A blocked arm leaves part of the rack dirty, so we check that each one spins freely and has open holes.
