Viking FDW300WS Softener Dishwasher
The FDW300WS is a retired 300 Series 24-inch custom panel dishwasher with a water softener. It has three wash arms, triple filtration, a turbidity sensor, Quiet Clean insulation and racks for up to 14 place settings.
Capacity and a softener together mean heavy daily use and a constant supply of salt. When dishes cloud over, we check the softener before anything else. After that, we clean the filter set, test the arms and confirm the turbidity sensor is reading accurately. The custom panel adds weight to the door, so the springs and hinges are inspected too.
If the machine stops with water in the base, we trace the leak before resetting the float switch. A written price and a 30-day warranty accompany each repair.
Softened water lets detergent work properly and reduces spots and film. If the softener fails or runs out of salt, results fall off, and we check it first.
Check the door latch and the breaker, then restart. If it stops again, call us. A float switch, sensor or latch problem may be involved and we test them.
