The FDW103 is a retired 103 Series 24-inch custom panel dishwasher with three wash arms, triple filtration, a turbidity sensor and Quiet Clean insulation, and adjustable racks that hold up to 12 place settings.
This is a machine that hides behind your cabinet doors, so it can run for years without anyone looking at it. When we do, the story is usually the same. The filters are packed with debris, one of the arms has a blocked hole, and the door springs have stretched under the panel’s weight. We clean and check those first, then test the turbidity sensor, then the drain.

Wear in the pump, debris in the arms or a loose part in the tub can add noise. We listen during a cycle and inspect the pump and arms.
A custom panel adds weight, but the springs should balance it. If the door drops open or slams, we test the tension and adjust or replace the springs.
Check that the door latches fully and the breaker is on. If it still will not start, the latch, control or float switch may be responsible, and we test them in turn.
