Viking FDW100 Integrated Dishwasher Repair
The FDW100 is a 24-inch fully integrated dishwasher that holds 12 place settings and accepts a custom cabinetry panel, so it usually disappears into a run of kitchen cabinets next to the sink. It has five wash cycles, a turbidity sensor and Triple-Clean filtration.
Because the filter keeps food out of the pump, it is the first thing we look at when a dishwasher drains slowly or leaves grit on glasses. The turbidity sensor is next: if it reads wrongly, the machine picks short cycles for dirty loads. We also look under the machine, since a drip into the base pan trips the safety float and stops the cycle.
Condensation drying relies on a clean seal and correct vent behavior. Our price is written before any work.
A clogged or poorly seated filter is the usual reason. We remove and clean the Triple-Clean filter parts, check the spray arms for blocked holes, and test the drain before suspecting the pump.
It detects water in the base and stops the machine to prevent flooding. If it trips, we look for leaks at the door seal, hoses and pump, and test the switch itself.
This model dries by condensation, so some moisture on plastics is normal. Very wet loads can point to a worn door seal, a poor vent, or low rinse temperature. We check each in turn.
