On the Viking Combi Steam/Convect ovens VCSO210 and CVCSO210 (2014 to 2016), such as the VCSO210SS, EE02 means the AH sensor has failed. AH stands for absolute humidity, and the sensor measures moisture in the cavity for sensor cooking. The code appears when the sensor circuit is broken or shorted, or when its readings fall outside the normal range. Sensor-based programs may stop, and the oven needs service.
1. Turn the oven off and wait for the cavity to cool. 2. Wipe the cavity and door seal dry so moisture does not collect. 3. Cut power at the plug for a moment, then restore it. 4. Try a plain timed cycle instead of a sensor program. 5. If EE02 returns, call us.
It measures the amount of water vapor in the oven so sensor programs know when food is done. EE02 means that reading is missing or out of range.
Plain timed cooking may still work, but we advise stopping if the code returns. Sensor programs will not run correctly until the sensor is replaced.
We test the sensor and its wiring, replace what has failed, and quote the price in writing before any work. Repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty from the day of the visit.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
