Viking VESO130T Professional Touch Oven
The VESO130T is a retired 30-inch Professional single electric select oven with touch control and a delayed start of up to 24 hours. It sits beside the VESO130 in the family and takes the same approach, with the touch panel added.
Scheduled cooking that fails to start leads us to the clock and to the relay that closes at the set time. A panel that is dim in daylight has a backlight or supply that is aging. A fan that is noisy at startup has a bearing near the end of its life. A scorched lamp socket is a small but real problem: it can pass heat to the wiring, so we replace it along with the bulb.
Parts for this retired oven are lined up before we quote. The price is written first, and a 30-day warranty comes with the repair.
The clock may have reset after a power blip, or the relay may be stuck. We check the clock and test the relay. These are the simplest causes and the cheapest to fix.
Heat or a poor contact has damaged it. We replace the socket and bulb and check the wiring behind it. Reusing a scorched socket invites a repeat failure.
Yes, a worn bearing tends to be loudest at startup. The fan may seize later, so we recommend replacing the motor soon. A new motor restores quiet and even airflow.
