What Time to Clean light means

On Viking clear-ice and nugget ice machines such as the FGIM5151 and FGNI515, the Time to Clean light turns on after six months of use. It stays on until the ice-making system is cleaned and the Clean-Reset procedure is done. It is a maintenance reminder, not a breakdown, and the machine can keep making ice meanwhile. Nothing in the machine has failed.

Why does the light stay on after cleaning?

The Clean-Reset step may have been skipped. Repeat it, and if the light still stays on, call us. Use only the approved cleaner and do not skip the reset step at the end.
