The DDB200 is a retired Designer 24-inch dishwasher described as Energy Star rated, with a heavy-duty Diamond-Brite stainless steel inner tank and wash arms and racks roomy enough for a dinner party’s worth of dishes.
A stainless tank resists staining and wear, which is why many of these machines are still running. What wears out around it are the parts that move and seal: the door gasket, the pump and the filters. We begin by cleaning the filters and checking that the spray arms spin freely and have open holes. Then we test the drain, and finally the door seal and latch if water is escaping.
