Viking VESO1302T Custom Touch Oven
The VESO1302T is a retired 30-inch single Custom electric oven with touch control. The Pro Custom ovens offered a flush-mount installation, which earlier Pro ovens did not, so many sit tight within their cabinetry.
A flush fit leaves little room for heat to escape. Warm air that cannot leave stresses the board, the wiring and the cabinet, so we check clearances and the cooling fan before we test anything else. An erratic touch panel could be reacting to that heat, or to moisture under the glass. Slower preheat comes down to the bake element, the sensor or the door seal.
