The VDWU724 is a current 24-inch dishwasher with an installed Professional panel, an OpenAir Drying function, a blue cycle indicator light, Turbo Fan Dry and a Quiet Clean performance package rated at 39dB.
OpenAir Drying adds a moving part that most dishwashers do not have: the door is meant to open slightly at the end of the cycle to release moist air. If it stays shut, the fan and the latch mechanism are where we start. The blue indicator light is a simple check on the control side, and the fan is tested for airflow and wiring. After that we clean the filters, test the drain and listen for noise.
