Viking DURI140D Ice Maker Service
The DURI140D is a retired Designer 24-inch beverage center with an ice maker. Water and cold must both work for the ice to appear, and a drain that clogs causes leaks that show up on the cabinet floor. In a bar, the supply line may run a long way, which gives a leak more places to hide.
We service a DURI140D by checking the water supply, the inlet valve, the mold and the drain, then the cabinet temperature and the condenser. Flow and connections are tested for seepage. Because the unit sits in cabinetry, we protect the floor when pulling it forward. Written pricing comes first, and a 30-day workmanship warranty follows the repair. The ice maker arm and mold heater are tested as part of the visit.
The water supply may be off or restricted, or the cabinet may not be cold enough. We test the supply, valve and mold, then measure the temperature.
At the fill line connection, the inlet valve or a clogged drain that overflows. We trace the water from the supply to the drain and repair the source.
It adds a little load, but a healthy cabinet handles it. If cooling suffers, we clean the condenser and test the fan before suspecting the ice maker.
