The DFWD171 is a retired 27-inch custom panel warming drawer, with the same features as the DFWD and a front panel that you supply to match your cabinets. A panel that sits tight to the drawer can trap heat at the face, and a drawer that tilts forward may be a sign that the slides have started to give.
We service a DFWD171 by checking the panel fit and the slides first, then the latch and the heating. We touch-test the cabinet face while the drawer heats, to see whether heat is reaching the panel.
