Viking DDWB301 TriTemp Cellar Repair
The DDWB301 is a retired Designer full-height wine cellar that stores up to 150 bottles horizontally. Its TriTemp storage system provides three separate temperature zones, and full-width shelves pull out for standard, magnum and half-size bottles. With three zones, the question when something is off is always which zone, and what that zone depends on.
We service a DDWB301 by measuring each zone with a thermometer, then testing the sensor, damper and airflow for the zone that disagrees. The pull-out shelves are checked for drag, which can disturb bottles. We clean the condenser and test the door seal along its full height. Parts for this retired model are priced in writing before ordering, and a 30-day workmanship warranty covers the repair.
It lets different wines sit at different temperatures. If one zone drifts, its sensor or airflow is usually responsible, so we test each zone separately and compare it with a thermometer.
Dust, a bent rail or a heavy load can make them drag. We clean and adjust the rails and replace worn rollers, then test every shelf fully loaded so bottles are not disturbed.
The full-width shelves are made for standard, magnum and half-size bottles. If a shelf will not hold them level, or drags when extended, we check the rails and rollers and correct them.
