What F5 means

On Viking Designer DETU series touch-control radiant cooktops, F followed by a letter or number appears on the timer display. F5 is a communication error. The control stops all the heating elements and shows the code, so every zone goes cold. Letter case matters on these cooktops, and F5 is a number, not a letter. It tells us the parts of the control are not talking to each other.
