Viking VSOF7301 French-Door Oven
The VSOF7301 is a current 30-inch electric single French-door oven in the 7 Series, with a 4.3 cu ft cavity, CoolLit LED lights and Vari-Speed Dual Flow convection. Both doors open with one hand.
The one-hand action depends on a linkage that moves the two panels together, so a panel that lags or drags sends us to the linkage, hinges and springs. A gap down the middle lets heat escape and is corrected by alignment or a new gasket. LEDs do not burn out like bulbs; when they flicker, the driver or the wiring in the door frame is the more likely cause.
A fan that stays on one speed has a motor or control problem. For this current model, parts are usually easy to source. The price is in writing first, and a 30-day workmanship warranty applies.
The linkage may be bent, a spring weakened or a hinge dragging. We adjust the linkage and replace worn parts. Once adjusted, both panels should swing together smoothly.
The driver, the wiring in the door frame or a failing LED strip. We test each, starting with the driver. LED strips seldom fail alone, so the driver is the first suspect.
It is listed at 4.3 cu ft, a generous size for a single oven, which makes airflow and fan condition important. Check that nothing blocks the vents and the fan runs smoothly.
