Viking DGVU200 30-Inch Gas Cooktop
The DGVU200 is a retired Designer Series 30-inch gas cooktop made to fit a standard, replacement-friendly cutout. That makes it common in kitchens where an older gas top was swapped without cutting the counter.
Fit does not change how a burner ages. Sooner or later the ports clog with spilled food, igniters stop catching, and the simmer setting becomes unreliable. We clean the heads first, test each igniter, and look at the spark module. If the flame still misbehaves at low, we check the valve and the orifice. Everything is priced before we begin.
A replacement-friendly cutout also makes service easier, since the space around the cooktop is usually open enough to reach valves and wiring from below.
