Viking 3 Series Freezer Display HI: Compartment Too Warm

What HI means

On Viking 3 Series French-door bottom-freezer refrigerators, models RVRF336 and RVRF3361, the display shows HI when a compartment temperature is too high. The same HI high-temperature display applies to either compartment, the refrigerator or the freezer. You see HI instead of a number, and it stays until the temperature comes back within range. Check the display after the doors have been closed for a while.
