Built-in Viking refrigerators, cooktops, wall ovens, microwave drawers, wine units and ice machines are what we fix in Uptown. Reserve by phone or through the site, and let us know soon about any contractor rules at your building.
Local housing, power events, water conditions, and installation styles all affect how we approach Viking diagnostics here.
The Galleria opened under developer Gerald Hines in 1970, while Philip Johnson designed the 901-foot Williams Tower that now defines the skyline. Roughly 12,000 homes here sit inside complexes with at least 50 units, versus about 6,300 detached houses.
A penthouse cooktop or wine unit needs a different plan than a bungalow one. We ask about the floor, the elevator and the model so the correct parts ride up on the first trip.
Houston's city water reaches towers and houses alike, but a tower usually pushes it through its own pumps and pressure regulators. Pressure can therefore change as you move up the building.
A Viking ice machine or steam oven that fills slowly may simply be underfed by that supply. We inspect the shutoff and inlet screen, and we point you to a plumber when the problem sits in the building line.
In July 2024 Hurricane Beryl made landfall and plunged over two million CenterPoint accounts into darkness, some for days. Residents of upper floors faced warm refrigerators and stopped elevators at the same time.
When power returned, many Viking cold units needed inspection before restocking. We test the gaskets and ice maker, read any code on the control board and say which food to throw out.
Many towers restrict gas, so condo kitchens lean on electric or induction cooktops. Remodeled houses and newer townhomes more often have gas rangetops beneath a wall oven.
Induction and electric Viking tops need a stable 240V circuit, while gas models need proper venting. We check the breaker, hood and connection, and name who owns each fix.
Before booking a tower visit, read your building’s contractor rules, since many demand proof of insurance, a booked freight lift or a set work window. The front desk could also want our technician’s name ahead of time. Send the management office contact and we take care of the forms so nobody waits in the lobby.
Hood ducting in a high-rise often belongs to the building, not the owner, so weak airflow is not always the appliance. We test the unit first, then tell you which side of that line the problem lives on. If an outlet runs warm or a circuit trips, the electrician or building engineer should step in before we continue.
Yes. Send us the management office email and any required wording, and we deliver the certificate before the visit so the lobby can clear the technician.
Not really. Share the booking window and elevator contact, and we time our arrival around it. The price goes on paper before work begins.
Appointments within a day or two are normal, since Uptown is a short drive outside the Loop. We cover our work for 30 days.
