On Viking wall ovens with the EOC4 control, namely the Professional VESO127, VEDO127, VESO130 and VEDO130, F10 means an improper program selection: someone tried to program a timed, delayed self-clean cycle. The control does not allow a delayed clean. F10 is not an overheating message; the oven is fine. Turn the cycle off and set the clock to manual, then start the clean without a delay.
1. Press the cancel or off key to turn the cycle off. 2. Open the clock settings and set the clock to manual. 3. Choose CLEAN again and start it without a delay start. 4. If F10 appears when you have not programmed a delay, call us.
No. F10 is about the program you entered. A runaway temperature is a different code. Cancel the cycle and start again without any delay, once the clock has been set to manual.
Not as a delayed clean on these models. Start the clean when you are ready, then let the oven finish and cool down before you open the door.
Use the clock settings on the display and choose manual. That removes the timed setting that triggered F10. If you cannot find it, we can show you during a visit.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
