Viking VDW302 Front-Control Dishwasher
The VDW302 is a current 24-inch dishwasher with a front-control panel, 14 place settings, six wash cycles, a turbidity sensor and Triple-Clean filtration. The controls sit on the face of the door, where they are used every day and exposed to splashes.
Moisture and grease are what most often disturb a front panel. A wet cloth or a leaky seal can send droplets across the keypad, and the buttons may stop responding or act on their own. We therefore start by drying the panel and inspecting the seal, then test the keypad. After that we look at the filter, the drain and the turbidity sensor in the same order as for any busy household machine.
We quote in writing and cover repairs with a 30-day warranty.
Moisture or grease can interrupt the keypad. Dry the face and try again. If the problem remains, we test the keypad and board and check whether door seals are letting moisture reach the panel.
Use a barely damp soft cloth, then dry it. Avoid spraying cleaner directly on the panel, because liquid can seep behind the keypad and cause erratic behavior.
A clogged filter, a kinked hose or a weak pump. We clean the filter, check the hose path and the air gap or disposal connection, and test the pump.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
