Viking VWH66481 66-Inch Professional Hood
The VWH66481 is a retired Professional Series wall hood, 66 inches wide and 24 inches deep. It is the widest of the deep wall hoods in this family and is mounted over a long run of cooking appliances, so it is a visible centerpiece on the wall.
The first concern is evenness. We pull every filter and wash it, then check how the grease is distributed along the canopy. The blower wheel and motor come next, and then the duct and the damper. We test all the lights and run the control through its range several times. Because the hood is long and heavy, we look at the wall mounting, and we tell you if anything needs tightening.
You get a written price before any work begins. A 30-day workmanship warranty covers the repair.
It is long and heavy, and the housing opens from below. A second person or supports keep the canopy steady and protect the stainless. Cleaning every filter then gets the draw even across the full width.
Some lamps may have failed or sockets may be worn. We test each lamp and socket and replace only those that do not work. Dark spots are easy to locate once the hood is on and the lamps are tested.
The steps are the same as other wall hoods: filters, blower, damper, lights and controls. We match any part to your model number. Parts are matched by model number, so we check the label before ordering.
