Viking VQGI5360 Built-In Grill
The VQGI5360 is a retired 36-inch built-in gas grill in the 5 Series, equipped with a ProSear burner and a rotisserie. It matches its sibling VQGI5361 in width and sits in an island or masonry enclosure.
Because it is enclosed, a gas problem lingers, so we begin with ventilation and the shutoff before lighting anything. We check the hose and fittings for leaks with soap solution and then take the grill apart far enough to see the burners. Uneven heat across the grates is traced to a specific burner and cleaned; the ProSear burner is run on its own to see its flame.
If the rotisserie is noisy, the motor and bearings are inspected. A smell of gas in the island means closing the supply, stepping away and calling the utility from outside. The model is retired, so we confirm part availability, give a written price and offer a 30-day warranty.
An enclosure traps gas if a joint leaks and there is little ventilation. Close the supply and call the utility; we then find the leak and check the vent openings.
Dry bearings, a loose spit fork or worn gears. We clean and lubricate, tighten what is loose and replace worn gears. Replacing worn gears is cheaper than replacing the motor.
They are neighboring model numbers with the same width. We check your data plate so the parts we order match your grill exactly. Ordering by plate avoids a wrong part arriving.
