The VIPR182 is a retired 48-inch rear downdraft with controls on the intake top. It sits behind a 48-inch range or rangetop, typically in an island or a peninsula, and pulls steam down through a wide slot.
On a downdraft this wide, the ends of the slot are the first to lose draw when grease builds up. We clean the filters along their full length and test the controls on the top of the intake.
