Viking RVDD330R 3 Series Downdraft
The RVDD330R is a 30-inch rear downdraft from the 3 Series with remote-mounted controls. It sits behind a 30-inch cooktop and draws fumes down into a duct below the counter, so you do not see an overhead hood.
We start our check at the controls: we test the switch, the wiring, and the power to the blower. Next we remove the filters and see how much grease has gathered. The blower, which sits below the counter, is inspected for wheel balance and motor condition, and the ductwork is checked for kinks. We stop and explain our findings before we touch anything. The slot is cleaned and the filters are refit before we run the final test.
You see the price in writing before work begins, and repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.
They are in the slot behind the cooktop, usually lifted out from above. We show you how to remove and clean them. They lift out from above, and we can show you how.
Grease on the blower wheel, a loose mount or a worn bearing can cause noise. We find which it is, then repair it. Tightening the mount or cleaning the wheel is often enough.
Often yes. We assess it, give the cost in writing and tell you if a part is hard to get. Availability varies, and we confirm what can be obtained before you approve the work.
