Viking VQGI5361 Grill Head Service
The VQGI5361 is a 36-inch built-in gas grill head with a ProSear burner, intended for an outdoor kitchen island. It sits between the 30-inch and 42-inch head sizes in the same built-in line. Because it is built into masonry or framing, the gas valve is hidden and service access is tight.
A built-in head faces rain, sprinkler spray and the heat that collects in the island cavity. We start by locating the shutoff and confirming gas is off, then examine the igniters and wiring for moisture damage. If a single burner does not light, we clean its ports and venturi and test its valve; if every burner lags, we move upstream to the regulator and supply line.
Gas odor means closing the supply, leaving the area and calling the utility from outside. We quote the price in writing and cover our work with a 30-day warranty.
We service the VQGI5361 as a 36-inch ProSear built-in head. If your grill carries a different nameplate, send us a photo of the data label and we will confirm the model.
Usually a damp electrode, a worn spark gap or blocked ports. We dry and test the igniter, set the gap and clear the ports. A flame that lights late should never be ignored.
Once a year is sensible in Houston's humidity, ideally before the season. We check ignition, ports, hoses and the fittings under the island. A yearly look keeps small problems from growing.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
