Viking DPPV3682 Hood Ventilator Repair
The DPPV3682 is the 36-inch version of Viking’s Designer Series power pack ventilator system, with a Designer Series style control panel and a built-in 460 CFM ventilator. It was built to go inside a custom hood rather than to stand alone.
That is why we ask a few questions first: how the hood was built, how large the opening is, and where the duct leaves the house. During the visit we test the panel, clean the filters, and check the blower for balance. We watch the damper while the blower runs to make sure the full flow can leave the building. Our notes on how the unit is mounted go with the invoice, in case you need them later.
A written price comes before work, and repairs include a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Each custom hood is built differently, and the ventilator may be reached from below, behind a panel or through the top. Knowing that saves time and protects your finish.
Both are listed with a 460 CFM ventilator, so the difference is in the width of the hood they serve rather than the blower. A mismatch is rarely the reason, so we focus on what the tests reveal.
Heat, moisture or a loose connection. We inspect the panel and wiring before replacing anything, so the cost stays tied to a real failure. We replace only the part that has failed, which keeps the repair simple.
