Viking DPPV3082 Power Pack Ventilator
The DPPV3082 is a 30-inch Designer Series power pack custom ventilator system. It pairs a Designer Series style control panel with a built-in 460 CFM ventilator, and it is meant to be hidden inside a custom hood that the builder or cabinet maker created.
Since the hood around it is custom, we first work out how it is reached. Then we check the control panel and its wiring, pull the filters and inspect the blower. A 460 CFM blower can pull hard on a clogged duct, so we also look for restrictions and test the damper. We tell you plainly if the enclosure around the unit seems to be limiting its airflow or heat dissipation.
