Viking DICV36321 Island Ventilator Insert
The DICV36321 is a 36-inch Designer Series built-in ventilator designed for an island hood. Unlike a finished hood, it is the working insert, usually hidden inside a custom shell of wood, plaster or metal that the builder made for the kitchen.
That arrangement shapes our service. Access is often through the bottom of the shell, so we first confirm there is room to remove filters and, if needed, the blower. We check the filters, wheel, motor and controls, and we test the lights. If the shell traps heat or restricts the insert, we tell you. Because the insert is concealed, we photograph the hidden connections before disconnecting anything.
You get a written price before work, and a 30-day workmanship warranty on our repair.
The insert sits inside a custom enclosure, so access and clearance vary. We check how it is mounted before we start and avoid disturbing your surrounding finish.
Only if the shell leaves room for air and for service access. If airflow is poor, we inspect the filters and blower first, then discuss whether the enclosure is part of it.
Your builder or cabinet maker. We repair the ventilator, the controls and the lights, and we avoid altering the shell. Your builder or cabinet maker is the right person for it, while we handle the ventilator, the controls and the lights, and we avoid altering the shell at all.
