Viking BVWH86078 60-Inch Brigade Hood
The BVWH86078 is a retired 60-inch Brigade wall hood, the widest of the Brigade hoods in this group. It has high-powered ventilators, a heavy-duty filter system, halogen lighting and heat lamps, all in a seamless stainless steel body.
At 60 inches, a single ventilator that stalls leaves uneven airflow along the hood, with one end pulling less than the other. We test each ventilator motor, its capacitor and its wheel. The long filter bank collects a lot of grease, so we inspect and clean it. Halogen lamps flicker when the socket or the connection is overheating, and we replace damaged sockets.
The duct run is checked, since a hood this size needs a large, clear duct. Retired parts are confirmed in advance. The price is written down and agreed before we begin. All work has a 30-day warranty.
One of the ventilators may have stalled or its wheel may be coated with grease. We test each motor and clean the wheels. The wheel is balanced after cleaning.
