Viking BQC030T3 30-Inch Grill Repair
The BQC030T3 is a retired 30-inch premium gas grill from Viking’s Outdoor Series. It uses 25,000 BTU stainless steel burners under heavy-duty porcelainized grids, and it could be set into a custom enclosure or rolled around on a stainless cart.
A grill this old has usually met a few summers of salt air and a few storms. We look for burners that have rusted through at the ports, igniters that have corroded, and porcelain that has chipped and started to flake. Chipped grids rust quickly and shed bits onto the food, so we tell you when it is time to replace them.
We check the regulator and hose, clean the burners and confirm flame color. Parts for retired grills can take longer, so we verify availability before quoting. For any gas odor, shut off the supply and call the utility from outside. You get a written price first and a 30-day warranty.
Small chips can be treated, but flaking porcelain rusts from below. We tell you honestly whether to keep cleaning the grates or replace them. Replacement grids are the cleaner long-term fix when the coating is gone.
Rust at the ports and spider nests in the venturi tubes change the flame. We clean and inspect each burner and replace any that have corroded through.
Viking offered both ways of installing it, but the move needs the right clearances and gas fittings. We can check the gas side before you rebuild.
